Mckayla is so excited to meet her new class!

Task 1:

This is my sketch design. I decided this dress would look cute around knee length. Also I hope this next picture will explain they way the straps work.

The right arm goes under the right ribbon loop. For the left arm you tie the open ends of the ribbon on the shoulder.

These are the accessories I used. I made the bow from scrap fabric. I bought the back from Walmart, in a Me and My Dollies retired set. I got the shoes from a retired My Life set at Walmart. And lastly, the faux leather belt is from Kaya's original outfit.

Task 2:

This is a scrap of the fabric I used. I got the fabric from Walmart.

This is the pattern I used. I got it from Pintrest.

I sewed this dress by hand. This is a picture of me finishing the hem.

This is a picture of me pulling the ribbon through the gather at the end.

Task 3:

Mckayla waved good-bye to her mom on her first day of school.
Mykayla was so happy her mom got her this new dress, because school was way easier in comfy clothes!
