Venice's "Learning" Outfit
Idea
Now if I'm going to tell you the story of my outfit, I'm first going to need to tell you a bit of my own story. I was once an almost-normal person like the rest of you, except I did a lot of traveling around looking for adventure. Then one day, I found it. Well, I found her: the master of Adventure. Her name is Lexi.
Now Lexi is a time traveler. Can you imagine what the ability to time travel would do to your adventuring career??? Neither could I. But I really wanted to find out.
So Lexi took me on as her sidekick! What an honor. Certainly the best way to learn the ways of Time-Travel-Adventuring.
One of the first things Lexi taught me was the importance of a proper outfit. She said that whe learning to be a time traveler, you want to look professional, but you don't want anyone mistaking you for a normal person. Eccentricity is key.
As an example of what a time traveler should be dressed like, she had me take a look at her time traveling hero, The Doctor, from the TV show "Doctor Who". The Doctor has many different incarnations, and each has his own distinctive look.

This isn't the best picture for showing off all their outfits, but you can still see how each of the Doctors looks different, unique. The ruffles, the bowtie, the question marks, the celery, each one has has his own quirks. That is how every time traveler should be. You must have your own "look", something that makes you different from the others. Something "you."
So as the first step in my training, Lexi left me alone, with just a sketchpad and a sewing machine, to come up with my own distinctive time traveler costumer.
Here's what I came up with:

In Progress:
Pants:

T-Shirt:

Dress:

Hand/Leg Warmers:

Finished Product:
Voila! Ready for time-travel I am, and talk like Yoda I do. :)

The bow...

The shoes(from American Girl)...

And the hand warmers.

And some artsy views. :)

Thanks for looking!
