Jessa is about to start school down in sunny Florida! Because it's so hot outside she wears her favorite shorts and tank top, but brings a sweater with her since the air conditioning inside is so cold. To bring her books to school she uses a leather satchel and wears her grandma's turquoise pendant for good luck.

For my design I wanted something that was cute but functional for Florida. It is really hot, but the air conditioning inside is always put on full blast. 

The in-progress shots are of making the satchel. It is fully lined and closes with a snap.
