Inspiration

This is where it all started, just a simple waterfall vest. 

Being homeschooled, the "School Outfit" theme was a tricky one for me. My first idea was to make a homeschooler's back to school outfit (pajamas, LOL) but I later decided to make something more... well, modest.

These are the fabrics I chose. The blue fabric is actually one of my old shirts,​ and the other two fabrics I have been saving for something special. I thought this would be the proper time to use them.

The Finished Outfit

The finished product: JJ's School Outfit! I didn't bother making her shoes, being homeschooled she prefers to be barefoot. It's very freeing, you know. The belt was a thrift store find and I resized it to fit JJ. Everything else I sewed from scratch.
